Barton was found as a stray during the fall 2007 in a mountain town and never claimed. He ended up at a high kill shelter where his time was up. Hope for Animals rescued him where he quickly found his forever home. Here’s a note from his new mom.
I just wanted to let you all know how great Barton is doing. I do have to admit - we weren't crazy about "Barton" so we did rename him Cooper. He is making himself quite at home and he and my yorkie-poo Taz are becoming quite the buds. He LOVES to sit in our front window and watch the squirrel eat my bird food. He and the squirrel seem to really like each other, they sit there and look at each other through the window, it is so cute. Thank you for Cooper, he is such a love! There's nothing like having a cat to curl up in your lap on these cold evenings!
